JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman is in “life-threatening” condition following a domestic dispute turned into a shooting in Jacksonville, officers said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said this happened just before 1 a.m. Sunday in the area of Kingfisher Lane, where authorities found a woman in her 30s suffering from multiple gunshot injuries. She was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe that this started as a domestic incident inside a home that then led to a shooting.
Officials confirmed a suspect is in custody.
JSO crime scene detectives are speaking with witnesses and canvassing the area for surveillance footage.
