SAN ANTONIO – A vehicle lost control, struck a utility pole and flipped over on the South Side just before noon Sunday.
The accident happened just before noon Sunday along West Mitchell Street and South Flores Street on the South Side.
Police said the driver may have overcorrected before hitting the utility pole, causing the vehicle to overturn.
A man and a woman were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic in the area was temporarily shut down while crews investigated the crash and cleared the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
