Ultrawide camera comparison
Starting off at the widest end of the zoom range, it’s the Honor that is noticeably wider – it puts a lot more emphasis on the ‘ultra’ in ultrawide than the other two, so if that’s what you’re after, it’s an easy win for the Magic.
That’s not the end of its virtues though, and the Honor’s images are nicely sharp, and have vibrant colors and wide dynamic range. Which is also true of the Oppo and the vivo, of course. Difference in approach can be seen in color rendition, with the Oppo being a bit more conservative with its greens, while the vivo’s photos tend to be more vivid in general.
Overall though, it’s only the coverage that’s the real differentiator.

Main camera comparison
Looking at photos from the main cameras at their native zoom level, the differences remain fairly subtle. We’d be inclined to give the nod to the vivo, because it tends to be the most well-rounded – its shots are sharp and detail is rendered nicely, while the Oppo has a bit more of an artificial rendition, and the Magic is a notch softer. Also, we tend to prefer the vivo and the Honor’s more vibrant colors in outdoor scenes over the Oppo’s more restrained greens.

Things take a somewhat unexpected turn at 2x zoom, where the vivo’s output is the least convincing in terms of sharpness – it’s not bad, but it’s not particularly good either. The other two maintain a higher level of sharpness in general, with the Honor being consistently superior.
