You are going to want to get acquainted with his love interest ASAP. She’s one of my favorites in the whole series.

This one is both Eloise and Francesca’s stories. We got teasers of both in the most recent season of the show, but Eloise’s story starts with a penpal, and Francesca’s story, while a bit tragic, has one of the best happily ever afters of the series.
