NBC 5, Telemundo 39, and the City of Dallas, in association with H.E.L.P. (Hope Encourage Love Protect) invite you to walk with us at the 2026 City of Dallas MLK Parade on Monday, January 19 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fair Park area in Dallas.

The parade returns with a powerful theme, “Walk Together in Unity with Purpose,” which honors the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The parade honors Dallas’ commitment to being a leader in compassion, justice, and shared progress. The parade is more than a walk; it is a movement that invites us to step forward together so that we may honor Dr. King’s dream.

The parade boasts an impressive lineup of over 200 entries that showcase creative floats, dance teams, cultural organizations, first responders, youth groups, civic partners, and more. Richard Miles, founder of the organization Miles of Freedom, will serve as the parade’s Grand Marshal. Between 25,000 – 70,000 people are expected to attend.

A kickoff ceremony will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the MLK Center. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on MLK Blvd and S.M. Wright, ending in Fair Park. The parade route has been expanded to accommodate increased accessibility and an optimal route experience. To learn more about the parade and its route, click HERE.
