Two young boys were injured while playing with fireworks in Brooklyn on Monday night, police said.
The youngsters, ages 11 and 13, were lighting off the explosives at 57th Street and 9th Avenue in Borough Park around 7:17 p.m. when the fireworks blew up in their faces, cops said.

The younger boy was struck on his chest and right hand, while the explosives left the teen with a right eye injury, authorities said.
The two were hospitalized in stable condition.
It’s unclear who provided the kids with fireworks.
No arrests have been made.
