Officials have identified a woman who was fatally shot Sunday by a Fort Worth security guard.
Crystal Lynn Murphy, 39, died Sunday at about 6:06 p.m. in a parking lot in the 2600 block of South Riverside Drive, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
When officers arrived at the scene, police said they learned a security guard at the location had shot the woman.
According to police, the confrontation began when the security guard told the woman to leave the property. The two argued, and the guard used pepper spray on the woman.
