SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai has shared a personal health update with the community.
In a Facebook post, Sakai said he experienced a minor medical issue over the holidays and received treatment at University Hospital.
“I’m doing well and deeply grateful for the excellent care I received and the support of my wife, Rachel,” Sakai wrote.
While continuing his recovery, he said he is working from home to ensure that county operations continue without interruption.
