More than $10,000 worth of gifts were taken by a suspect. After a little police work, all the gifts were recovered in time for Christmas.

PHOENIX — Some might call it a “Christmas miracle.” Others call it good old-fashioned police work.

Either way, it was a great outcome for everyone before the holiday.

According to a Facebook post from the Phoenix Police Department, someone recently stole $10,000 worth of gifts from St. Vincent de Paul. During the investigation, police said officers were able to track down the presents and return them to the nonprofit before Christmas.

Saving Christmas for a number of families in need.
