SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio tradition is set to return later this month as the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo hosts its Official Cowboy Breakfast on Friday, January 30.

The annual event, which marks the unofficial start of Rodeo season, will take place from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.in the parking lot of the Frost Bank Center.

“The Cowboy Breakfast is a fun way to kick off Rodeo event season while celebrating the reason we do it, supporting kids and education,” said Cody Davenport, executive director and CEO of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. “Every meal, every moment at this event is part of the bigger story we’re helping to write for Texas youth.”

Guests can enjoy free breakfast tacos and coffee along with a variety of complimentary beverages. The morning will also include live music, appearances by the Spurs Hype Squad, Rodeo merchandise, and family-friendly activities.

The Cowboy Breakfast also serves as the official launch of the 2026 Rodeo BBQ Cookoff, which takes place the same weekend.
