The fourth annual Sing Us Home festival is set for May 1-3 on Venice Island in Manayunk, kicking off the outdoor music festival season in Philadelphia.

The event, produced by Rising Sun Presents, opens with the Friday night Hause Family Campfire, featuring Dave Hause, Ted Leo, Will Hoge, and Jenny Owen Youngs. Headlining acts for the Sing Us Home festival include Dave Hause, Tim Hause, the Menzingers, the Mountain Goats, Ted Leo, and Jon Stewart, who will perform as the drummer for Church and State™.

Among the most notable names in the lineup is Stewart, who, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer, has played only a handful of gigs with Church and State™. Rolling Stone reported in October that the group popped up at a weekly show that singer/guitarist Rick Barry of the group was hosting at a bar on the Asbury Park boardwalk. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, last month, he told his Daily Show audience that he picked up the drums after failing to play the guitar or piano. At age 63, he’s finding playing in the band a delight.
