This is Matiscik’s 3rd straight time being named an All-Pro, and his second time being named to the 1st team. For Lloyd, the selection marks the first in his career.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The NFL unveiled the 2025 first- and second-team All-Pro selections Saturday, with two Jacksonville Jaguars earning honors: linebacker Devin Lloyd and long snapper Ross Matiscik.

Matiscik earned first-team honors, while Lloyd was selected to the second team. This is Matiscik’s third straight time being named an All-Pro, and his second time being named to the first team. For Lloyd, the selection marks as the first in his career.

Lloyd, who’s started in 15 games this season, has racked up 74 tackles, 10 quarterback hits, seven passes defensed, six tackles for loss, five interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovery. His five interceptions and six takeaways are tied for the second and third most in the league, respectively. He’s just the second player behind Lavonte David in 2013 to register at least 10 quarterback hits and five interceptions in a season in the last 20 seasons.

Lloyd’s 99-yard pick-6 in the Jaguars’ week 5 win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football was the longest in franchise history and the longest regular season return by a linebacker since 1941. He was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week following week 4 and AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September.

In addition to three All-Pro nods for Matiscik, the 6-year veteran has been named to the Pro Bowl the last three seasons. According to the Jaguars, he’s played 140 special teams snaps this season, making four tackles, which is tied for third in the league among long snappers.

Lloyd, Matiscik and the Jaguars will square off against the Buffalo Bills at EverBank Stadium on Sunday for their first round playoff game. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
