The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is seeking new board members to join us in the coming year!
We’re looking for people who can bring strong networks and expertise to advance our mission for safer, more accessible streets – whether that’s connecting us with supporters, strengthening our legislative position and relationships across Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, advancing equity and justice efforts, securing corporate and philanthropic funding, or guiding us through strategic change.
As a board member, you’ll join committed community leaders in building a Philadelphia where everyone – regardless of age, ability, or neighborhood – can safely bike, walk, and roll through vibrant, connected streets and trails. Together, we’ll shape both the future of cycling advocacy and our organization’s capacity to create lasting, equitable change across our region.
Board members are expected to be active participants in advancing our mission, attending quarterly board meetings, serving on a subcommittee that meets between board sessions, and actively supporting fundraising efforts through personal giving, donor cultivation, and leveraging professional networks.
Interested candidates should submit a statement of interest (no more than 1 page) and link to a resume or CV by Wednesday, January 21 to: bcgp-board-nominations@googlegroups.com
Finalist candidates will meet with our selection committee in early February.
