After an overcast start to the weekend, North Texas is going to enjoy a sunny Sunday before the clouds return in the coming week.

Day temperatures on Sunday are forecast to top out at 59 degrees before dropping down to 36 degrees at night, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.

After weeks of unusually warm winter weather, the Dallas-Fort Worth region is likely to head into a slightly colder path in the upcoming week.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 60s during the day, and overnight temperatures are likely to be in the 30s and 40s.
