Crash occurred near Tidwell Road and Wayside Drive early Sunday morning
A driver died in a single-vehicle crash in northeast Houston early Sunday morning when a Honda Civic collided with a tree near Tidwell Road and Wayside Drive. (OnScene, KPRC)
HOUSTON – A driver is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Northeast Houston on Sunday morning.
Houston Police said a call came in around 3:43 a.m. reporting that a red Honda Civic crashed into a tree near Tidwell Road and Wayside Drive.
According to police, the caller stated the driver was trapped inside the vehicle and not breathing.
The medical examiner’s office pronounced the driver deceased at the location.
