After hundreds of protestors gathered on Saturday around North Texas to oppose ICE, another protest formed at a high-traffic location in Dallas.

DALLAS — Protestors opposed to ICE gathered on Sunday on a pedestrian bridge above U.S. 75.

On Sunday, Jan. 11, dozens of people gathered on a pedestrian bridge above U.S. 75 just north of Royal Lane in Dallas, according to Texas Department of Transportation cameras in the area. The protestors displayed a sign that reads “Dallas says ICE out for good.”

The day before, on Saturday, Jan. 10, hundreds of people gathered in several North Texas cities to join nationwide “ICE out for good” protests. Demonstrators gathered to voice outrage over the death of 37-year-old Renée Nicole Good, a mother and community member who was shot and killed earlier this week during an encounter with ICE in Minnesota.

Federal officials said an ICE agent shot Good after authorities said she used her vehicle as a weapon. President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have said the agent acted in self-defense. Local officials in Minnesota say videos from the scene show that agents were “recklessly abusing power.”

It’s unclear how long the demonstration above U.S. 75 would last on Sunday. Traffic was slightly delayed in the area around 1:30 p.m., according to TxDOT.
