Meteorologist Berkeley Taylor announced this week that she’s joining the weather team at KDFW-TV (Channel 4).

“So excited to be back home forecasting for Dallas-Fort Worth!,” the Mansfield native wrote in a Facebook post.

Taylor, a 2023 Texas A&M graduate, announced last month that she was leaving her job at KBTX-TV in Bryan-College Station, where she worked for over two years. Taylor previously worked at KTEN-TV in Sherman-Denison.

Taylor’s arrival bolsters the KDFW weather staff after some recent losses. Meteorologist Julia Fife announced last month that she was leaving the station, with her last day Dec. 30. She had arrived at Fox 4 shortly after the July departure of meteorologist Dylan Federico, who also left after a two-year stint. Evan Andrews, a meteorologist for more than 25 years at KDFW, announced his retirement in October, although he’s filled in on some shifts lately for the station.
