Giddy up for the return of the city’s oldest event: the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.
The Western celebration will run from Jan. 16 to Feb. 7 with dozens of events at Dickies Arena and Will Rogers Memorial Center honoring Fort Worth’s history and culture.

Listen to students sing their hearts out during Mariachi Competition
The FWSSR Texas Invitational Mariachi Competition features top high school teams competing in a non-UIL contest. Last year, North Side High School’s Mariachi Espuelas de Plata took home silver.

Wave hello to city’s horse, cowboy culture at All Western Parade
Watch as elected officials, Western organizations and marching bands parade through downtown Fort Worth. Reserved seating is available for purchase to guarantee close view.

Watch cowboys compete for top title at ‘Best of the West’ Ranch Rodeo
Top-notch working cowboys will compete in seven events, including Top Ranch, Top Hand and Top Horse.

Pray alongside faith community at Cowboy Church
The nondenominational worship service ropes together Christianity and Western culture. Service is held every Sunday through Feb. 1.

Learn about history of vaqueros at Best of Mexico Celebración
Celebrate the Mexican charrio, mariachis and folklorico dancers at this stock show and rodeo staple.

Honor legacy of diverse rodeo cultures at Cowboys of Color
Founded in 1971 by Cleo Hearn, the rodeo highlights the contributions of Native, Hispanic, European and Black Americans in the settlements of the Old West.

Cheer on miniature horses’ big moment in spotlight
Watch exhibitors show off their animals in multiple competitions. The stock show and rodeo has spotlighted miniature horses since the early 1980s.

Top newcomers compete in first-ever ProRodeo Rookie Rally
This new event features top rookies competing in professional rodeo across eight events. Guests wearing clothing sporting the Texas A&M logo receive free admission.

Giddy up for 17 days of face-offs at ProRodeo Tournament
This top rodeo, sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, has the top cowboys and cowgirls compete in multiple brackets. More than $1.5 million will be awarded to the winners.

See which schools fit your career goals during College Ag Day
Prospective college students interested in agriculture can learn about various institutions and their course offerings, tuition, housing and scholarship opportunities. Jam out to big country musicians at Auditorium Entertainment Series
Country singers Colter Wall and Hayden Redwine will perform their biggest hits. Tickets are almost sold out.

Pull at your heart strings during Fiddle Showdown
The annual contest is open to all students between 14 and 18 who attend public, private or homeschool in the state of Texas. Over $7,500 in scholarships are awarded to those who excel in their performances. A Southlake teen took the top prize last year.

Watch escaramuza competition spotlight Mexican culture
Escaramuza charra is the female equestrian event within the Mexican tradition of “charrería.” Fort Worth’s escaramuza competition became the first major livestock show and rodeo event sanctioned by the Mexican Association of Charros Federation in 2020.
When: 9 a.m. Jan. 31; 10 a.m. Feb. 1

Find out how much champion steer sells for at Livestock Auction
The Junior Sale of Champions Livestock Auction is one of the closing events of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Last year’s grand champion steer, Alley Cat, sold for $375,000.
