A Houston firefighter was hospitalized for a medical issue during a two-alarm fire at a high-rise on North Braeswood Boulevard.
HOUSTON — A Houston firefighter was sent to the hospital while crews battled a two-alarm fire at a high-rise building Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters with the Houston Fire Department were called to a building located on North Braeswood Boulevard near the 610 West Loop S. at around 3 p.m.
Smoke and flames were seen from the 11th floor.
An HFD firefighter was treated for an unknown “medical event”; however, HFD did not specify how serious the issue was.
No injuries were reported.
Crews were able to put out the fire in about an hour.
