PHOENIX — An investigation is underway after a shooting in Glendale on Sunday evening left a man injured, authorities said.
According to the Glendale Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call near 48th Avenue and Rose Lane around 6:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound on his side. He was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injures.

Upon investigation, authorities said an argument between two groups of people escalated into a physical altercation involving gunfire.
The shooter, identified as an adult woman, was arrested. Authorities said there is no threat to the public.
The investigation remains ongoing.
