North Texans should keep their coats and scarves at the ready with a chilly but sunny start to the week.
Monday brings an expected high temperature of 63 degrees before dropping to a low of 43, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Calm winds of up to 5 mph are expected throughout the day.
This week is expected to bring a series of cold fronts to the region.
The high temperatures will fluctuate between the 50s and 60s with no extreme temperatures or rain expected.

The lows will be in the 40s through Wednesday, with a slight drop to the mid-30s on Thursday. Strong winds up to 25 mph are expected throughout Wednesday, according to the weather service.
