BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Rock the Country music festival will not return to Louisiana in 2026.
According to the festival’s website, there will be stops in Bellville, Texas; Bloomingdale, Georgia; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Ashland, Kentucky; Anderson, South Carolina; Hastings, Michigan; Ocala, Florida; and Hamburg, New York.
In previous years, Rock the Country made stops in Livingston Parish and Gonzales. An estimated 28,000 people attended the festival in Livingston Parish in 2025, while about 60,000 people attended in Gonzales in 2024.
The festival’s stop in Livingston parish came with a few weather and traffic hiccups. Due to severe weather in the forecast, organizers had to change the start times for some performances. There were also heavy traffic delays as drivers tried to get to and from the festival.
The lineup of artists performing during the 2026 festival includes Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Jelly Roll, Brooks & Dunn, and Miranda Lambert.
Tickets will start going on sale on Friday, January 16. However, you can sign up for presale through the festival’s website by clicking here.
