SAN ANTONIO – A massive fire destroyed an abandoned two-story house on the Northwest Side early Wednesday morning, as investigators work to determine the cause.
The fire broke out shortly after 3 a.m. at a vacant property off Mockingbird Lane near Interstate 10.
Fire crews arriving on the scene found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Officials confirmed that the residence had been unoccupied for an extended period. No injuries were reported.
Arson investigators have been called out to find out how the fire got started.
