A more typical January chill has returned to North Texas.

Although a cold front moved in over the weekend, gradual warming has occurred over the last few days. Tuesday’s high is expected to peak at 66 degrees, 10 degrees above normal, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.

Overnight lows should also be slightly above normal, in the low 40s.

Wednesday is forecast to be windy as another cold front moves in, with gusts up to 33 mph possible. That front, as well as another moving in on Friday, is expected to help keep high temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s throughout the weekend.
