PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Get ready to climb the steps next time you want to pose with the Rocky statue at the Philadelphia Art Museum.
On Wednesday, the city’s Art Commission voted to move the iconic landmark from the bottom of the steps to the top permanently.

Before the statue reaches its final spot, it will be displayed inside the museum for the first time as part of an exhibit in April.
Then, in August, the original statue will be installed nearly 14 feet above the museum steps, while the loaner Rocky statue will be sent to Sylvester Stallone.
