NEW YORK — The NYPD is investigating an armed robbery at a Pokémon store in Manhattan’s West Village Thursday evening.
According to police, the robbery occurred around 6:45 p.m. at the Pokémon store located at 412 W. 13th St. Police said multiple suspects entered the store and carried out a gunpoint robbery, taking an unknown amount of merchandise and possibly cash.
Investigators said no injuries were reported during the incident. The suspects fled the scene westbound on West 13th Street on foot, police said.
The suspects were described as three males wearing all black clothing. One of the suspects was carrying a book bag, according to authorities.
Police said multiple items of merchandise were taken, though officials did not provide an estimated value of what was stolen. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
