The NBA is about a month or so away from revealing the entire 82-game schedule for the 2025-26 season, but details for the third NBA Cup in league history has been revealed.

The Philadelphia 76ers, who have been unable to reach the knockout rounds in each of the previous two NBA Cups in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons so they will have another chance in the upcoming year.

The Sixers will be in Group B and be teamed with the Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, and Orlando Magic. Per the schedule matrix, the Sixers will face the Pistons and the Nets on the road while hosting the Celtics and the Magic during the group stage. The NBA Cup games will begin on Oct. 31 and run through Nov. 28.

If healthy, which is always a gigantic *if* for this group, the Sixers will have a good chance of advancing. While three of those four are playoff teams, the Celtics figure to be much weaker due to injuries and offseason moves, the Pistons lost some key pieces, and the Nets are still rebuilding. The Magic will be a tough opponent, but the Sixers can match up if their stars are healthy.
