The man who died in a drive-by shooting in Fort Worth earlier this month has been identified, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Gennadiy Potupchik, 34, died in the hospital of a gunshot wound to the torso, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2000 block of Watauga Road at about 3:49 p.m. on Jan. 16, according to a previous statement.
When officers arrived, they found Potupchik lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, the statement said.

Fort Worth police arrested 24-year-old Saul Bosquez on Jan. 18 in connection with the shooting. He faces a murder charge.
Investigators say Potupchik was walking on the road when an unknown person, presumed to be Bosquez, pulled past him and fired multiple rounds.
Bosquez then fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle, according to the statement.
As of Monday afternoon, Bosquez remains in the Tarrant County jail with a bail amount set at $750,000.
