A WA teacher who police say gave birth to a baby fathered by a 13-year-old student has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexually abusing him.

Naomi Tekea Craig, 33, from Mandurah, south of Perth, admitted sexually penetrating the boy, who was aged 12 when the offences first took place.
She was initially charged with four offences but today another 11 charges were added – all of which she pleaded guilty to, and which took place between August 2024 and December last year.
They include:
- Five counts of sexually penetrating a child under the age of 13
- Five counts of sexually penetrating a child between 13 and 16 years old
- Persistent sexual conduct with a child under the age of 16
- Possessing child exploitation material
- Indecently dealing with a child under the age of 13
- Indecently dealing with a child between 13 and 16 years old

Her lawyer Reid Hogan told the court she wanted to enter guilty pleas to all charges and asked for her bail to be renewed.
Mr Hogan told the court she could not attend the court for medical reasons and had provided a doctor’s letter.

Craig’s bail was renewed by the magistrate with protective conditions in place, which included no unsupervised contact with any child except her new baby.
“If they’re [bail conditions] breached…[that] will put you in a very difficult position,” Magistrate Clare Cullen told her.
Last week Police Commissioner Col Blanch said police believed a baby the woman gave birth to was fathered by the student she was at that time accused of sexually assaulting.
