A Jacksonville man who has been wanted for nearly two years was arrested last week by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
Randarriuz Dewberry, 20, of Jacksonville, was located by officers during a traffic stop conducted by the Texas Highway Patrol on FM 346 outside of Bullard. Dewberry was wanted by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for his role in a deadly shooting on Feb. 14, 2024, off County Road 1804, which left Jayden Polk deceased. Dewberry had been on the run since the night of the shooting.
