Fort Worth police are investigating what they believe to be a cold weather-related death, according to a press release from the department.

Police say they were called at about 4:41 p.m. to an unresponsive person call in the 2900 block of East Seminary Drive.

Officials say when they arrived they found a woman who was unresponsive in a field and was later pronounced dead by Fort Worth Fire EMS.

Homicide detectives were notified and went to the scene as per normal protocol, police say, but no foul play is suspected in this incident.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the manner, cause of death and identity of the woman, police said.
