For Annie Tuttle, Vice President, Philanthropy & Community Impact of The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care, compassion is deeply personal, stemming from her family’s journey at the Anne and Donald McGraw Center for Caring, where her mother received end-of-life care.
“The care my mother received was extraordinary,” she recalled. “The team at the McGraw Center surrounded our family with compassion, comfort, and dignity. In the midst of loss, they gave us peace.”
That personal experience guides Annie’s work with The Foundation, which supports the programs of Community Hospice & Palliative Care, a subsidiary of Alivia Care, Inc.
Annie leads the Foundation with both heart and strategy, channeling philanthropy’s power to transform lives by connecting donors, civic leaders and community partners to programs that provide comfort, dignity and compassionate care for families facing advanced illness. Through her leadership, the Foundation helps ensure that Community Hospice & Palliative Care continues to provide exceptional end-of-life care alongside specialized services such as Community PēdsCare®, which supports children living with complex, life-limiting medical conditions.

A key priority for Annie is the Dorion Center for Community PēdsCare Capital Campaign, which will establish the region’s first community center exclusively dedicated to pediatric palliative and hospice care, providing children and families with a space for connection, healing, celebration and support.
