PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A nice run of above average temperatures will continue through the weekend into the end of next week. That’s due to a ridge of high pressure that will build in from off the coast of California and push inward over Arizona.
The ridge will be centered over Arizona on the weekend, likely bringing us high temperatures in the deserts in the 80s with highs in the mountains reaching the 50s and 60s. No precipitation is in the weekend forward around Arizona.
There’s a big golf tournament in Scottsdale next week and the weather will cooperate.
The forecast shows ideal conditions for the event with no precipitation expected, comfortable temperatures during the day, and cool but manageable evenings. The light wind conditions should make for good scoring opportunities for the tournament.
