The early dominance of Justin Rose has been the story of the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open thus far. Rose set a new tournament record through 36 holes at Torrey Pines, proving he has been in a different class than the rest of the field over the first two rounds. With the remaining competitors now shifting their full attention to the tougher South Course, players behind Rose have a tall order to make up ground after he put some serious distance between himself and most of the field taking a four-shot lead into Moving Day.
Chief among his chasers is Seamus Power with Joel Dahmen, Max McGreevy and Si Woo Kim also double digits under par. The task for everyone on the weekend is clear: If you want to catch the 45-year-old Englishman, you’re going to need to go low. Beyond the leaders, all eyes will be on Brooks Koepka as he made the weekend on the cut number at 3 under, ensuring he’ll get four days of action in his return to the PGA Tour. He looks to build momentum before heading to the WM Phoenix Open next week, where he’s a two-time former winner.
