HALTOM CITY – Amadita “Amy” Cordova, 72, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Celebration of life: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Amy was born on February 11, 1953, in Pecos, Texas, to her parents, Elasar and Olivia Garcia. She was a caring and loving woman who treated everyone she met as if they were one of her own children. Her heart was generous, her smile welcoming, and her laughter contagious. Amy truly loved life and found joy in sharing it with others. She was a devoted member of North Fort Worth Compass Church, where her faith and kindness shined through her actions. In her free time, Amy enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and planting-taking pride in watching things grow, much like the love she nurtured within her family. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Elasar and Olivia Garcia; her husband, (Lalo) Eduardo Cordova; and her sibling, Martha Garcia Sosa. She is survived by her daughter, Ninfa M. Cordova; her son, (Lalo) Germarin Eduardo Cordova; her beloved grandchildren, Angelina Rodriguez, Marylou Hernandez, John Hernandez, Cristian Cordova, Sebastyan Cordova, and Nevaeh Cordova; sisters, Victoria Trevino and Raquel Garcia Aquilar; brother, Recab Garcia; and numerous loving family members and dear friends. Amy’s life was one of compassion, warmth, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed, yet her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
