Human Remains Found In Basement Of NYC Apartment Building

BROOKLYN, NY — Police discovered human remains in the basement of an apartment building in Brooklyn on Sunday.

Officers were called to 330 Bushwick Ave. in Williamsburg around 10 a.m. and found the remains of an unidentified woman.

The city’s medical examiner will determine the official cause of death. The person’s age or identity have not been disclosed yet.

An investigation remains ongoing.
