LARAMIE, Wyo. (Feb. 1, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowboys hit the road for a battle on The Mesa with San Diego State on Tuesday. The contest against the Aztecs, who are tied for first place in the Mountain West is set for a 9 p.m. MT start on CBS Sports Network.

Wyoming heads into the contest with a 13-9 overall record and a 4-7 mark in conference play after defeating Colorado State 68-57 on Saturday. The Pokes average 78.3 points per game this season and allow 72.5 per night. Wyoming is averaging only 68.6 points per game in conference play. The Pokes are grabbing 37.2 rebounds per game this season to lead the conference. The Cowboys are grabbing 12 offensive rebounds per game, which also leads the MW.
 
The Aztecs head into the game with a 15-6 overall record and a 9-2 mark in the MW after falling on the road at Utah State on Saturday. The Aztecs average 80.2 points per game and allow 71 points per night. SDSU shoots 48 percent from the field and 37 percent from behind the arc. Wyoming is led in scoring this season by Leland Walker at 15.3 points per game for eighth in the MW. He also adds a team-high 3.6 assists per game, which ranks sixth in the conference.  Nasir (Naz) Meyer adds 13.2 points per game this season and adds a team-high 5.1 rebounds per game. Khaden Bennett adds 9.7 points per game and ranks second on the team with 4.8 rebounds per night. He recorded a season-high 22 points and added 10 rebounds against Colorado State, as it marked the first double-double by a Cowboy this season.
 
The Aztecs are led in scoring by Reese Dixon-Waters at 11.9 points per game. He also adds 3.9 rebounds per game and has hit a team-high 32 three pointers. Miles Byrd adds 10.8 points per game and 4.1 rebounds leading the team with 57 assists. BJ Davis adds 10.8 points per game and shoots 87 percent from the free throw line.

The Cowboys trail the all-time series 54-42. The Pokes are 12-33 all-time in San Diego. SDSU took the first meeting this season in Laramie by a score of 74-57 on January 14.  The Cowboys fell on the road last season at Viejas Arena by a score of 63-61.
