FORT WORTH – Danny Lee Marrs, 69, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. There will be a graveside service on February 20, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Forth Worth, Texas. Danny was born February 14, 1956 in Waco, Texas to Pat O. Marrs and Phyllis Sebourn Marrs. He was a 1975 graduate of Richland High School in North Richland Hills, Texas. He was devoted to playing the drums in the marching band. He was an Army Veteran. He loved music and putting together jig saw puzzles. Danny developed medical issues over his lifetime and entered the West Side Campus of Care in White Settlement in September 2024. The family appreciates the care from the nurses, doctors and staff at West Side Campus of Care and the Twilight Hospice. Especially his nurse Dorcas at West Side Campus of Care and Layla at Twilight Hospice. Danny is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his 3 sisters, Pam Diaz and husband, Candido, of Waco, Carol Ann Lyde and husband, Tracy, of Fort Worth and Gay Lynn Snapp and husband, Jared, of Georgetown; nieces and nephews, Don Diaz and wife, Marisol, Ben Diaz and wife, Amber, Enrique Diaz and wife, Jennifer, Colby Lyde and his partner, Daniel Castillo, Ginger Martinez and husband, Ryan, Joshua Snapp and wife, Amanda, Geneva Snapp and boyfriend, Keith Spinner; great nieces and nephews, Aly, Anthony and Alessandra Diaz, Ryan Jr. and Dominic Martinez, James Snapp and Baby Snapp on the way.
