A 59-year-old man was found dead inside a Queens apartment building Friday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded to 20-50 Nameoke Ave. in Far Rockaway around 2:40 p.m. on Jan. 30 after receiving a 911 call about an unconscious man, according to an NYPD spokesperson.
When officers arrived, they discovered the man unresponsive with trauma to his head and face. FDNY/EMS pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.
Police have not released the man’s identity pending family notification.
The body was transferred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
No arrests have been made as the remains ongoing, according to police.
