A fire broke out at a house in Chula Vista on Monday afternoon.
Crews with the Chula Vista Fire Department responded to the blaze on Woodlawn Avenue that was reported just before 2:30 p.m.
Video from SkyRanger 7 showed more than a dozen firefighters at the scene and white smoke coming out of the roof of the house. Much of the backyard, which appeared to have piles of items, was charred by 3 p.m.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. It’s unclear if there were any injuries.
