A driver was killed on Monday night after being shot in the head in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.
It happened just before 10 p.m. along the 1700 block of Brill Street.
According to Chief Inspector Scott Small, video shows two men approaching the vehicle. One of them is seen firing two gunshots through the passenger-side door window.
“After being shot, the vehicle went forward about two car lengths, where it came to rest against a large pile of snow,” Small said.
The victim, identified as a man in his 20s, was found in the driver’s seat. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspects were only described as wearing all dark clothing. They were last seen fleeing westbound on Brill Street.
Police say the victim is the owner of the vehicle.
There was no immediate word on a motive for the shooting.
