HARRISON, N.J. (February 3, 2026) – Red Bull New York II have signed goalkeeper Tomas Hut to a one-year MLS NEXT Pro contract through the 2026 season, with an option for the 2027 season, the club announced today.

Hut was selected 21st overall by Red Bull New York in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.

“Tomas is a talented young goalkeeper that has excelled at the collegiate level,” Head Coach Dominik Wohlert said. “He has strong shot stopping abilities and we look forward to integrating him with the team.” 

The 22-year-old played the last two seasons at Syracuse University, where he made 37 appearances and recorded 12 shutouts. In 2025, Hut made 20 appearances and recorded 76 saves. He earned All-ACC Third Team honors and also was a member of the All-ACC Tournament Team. He was a team captain for his two seasons at Syracuse. 

The Nutley, N.J. native spent his first two collegiate seasons with Army, where he made 17 appearances. He recorded five shutouts with the Black Knights. The goalkeeper logged 1,384 minutes played and posted 45 saves. 

Prior to college, Hut attended Seton Hall Prep High School, where he played for three seasons. During his junior season, he helped lead Seton Hall Prep to a 22-1-1 mark, which concluded with a Essex County Championship and also a Non-Public A Championship. Hut made 96 saves during the year and Seton Hall Prep only allowed five goals throughout the season.
