HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Two people are dead following a fire that ripped through a home in Hollywood overnight.
The fire started just before 3 a.m. at the single-family home on Vista Del Mar Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Firefighters quickly knocked down enough of the flames to search inside the home.
That’s when they found two people and pulled them outside. Both people, who have not been identified, died at the scene.
Fire crews extinguished the flames in 19 minutes.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
The L.A. County Medical Examiner and arson investigators responded to the scene.
