Yannick Hanfmann and Jan-Lennart Struff claimed straight-st victories on Friday as Germany took a commanding 2-0 lead in their Davis Cup qualifier against underdogs Peru.
Hanfmann won 6-4, 6-4 against Gonzalo Bueno and Struff then beat Juan Pablo Varillas 6-4, 6-2.

Germany can clinch the five-rubber tie if Tim Pütz and Kevin Krawietz win the doubles which starts Saturday’s programme also featuring the reverse singles.
Germany are in full command despite playing without Australian Open semi-finalist and world number four Alexander Zverev.
Victory will send them into the second qualifying round in September where Denmark or Croatia will be the opponent. That winner advances into the eight-team finals.
Germany have won the prestigious tennis team event three times, with the last title dating back to 1993.
