Sunday in Dallas-Fort Worth is expected to be wet, mostly cloudy, with possible flooding in isolated spots across the North Texas area.
There’s a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday with anywhere between 1 to 3 inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
A flood watch remains in effect in Tarrant, Collins, Dallas, Denton and surrounding counties through 7 p.m. Sunday. Isolated watch areas may have up to 6 inches of rain, according to the weather service.

Saturday night, Carrollton, Addison and Plano were hit with flash floods as three to four inches of rain fell in about 90 minutes, according to the weather service.
Police responded to calls in Carrollton and Dallas to help cars stuck in areas with high waters Saturday night, according to Carrollton and Dallas police.
During the upcoming week, occasional showers and storms are expected by the weather service to last until Monday night. By Tuesday, weather is forecasted to be mostly sunny and last throughout the weekend.
