The upcoming Street Fighter movie from Legendary Entertainment continues to fill out its cast for the upcoming film, which currently doesn’t have a release date.
Japanese professional wrestler, Hirooki Goto, is set to portray sumo wrestling great E. Honda, in the upcoming film according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com.
Goto is signed to New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), and was once an IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. He’ll join a number of other professional wrestlers and athletes, along with a few actors, to round out the cast for the upcoming release.

David Dastmalchian is set to play M. Bison, while Cody Rhodes from the WWE is currently rumored to be playing Guile.
Jason Momoa and Roman Reigns are also said to be on board with the fighting game adaptation as Blanka and Akuma respectively.
We recently learned as well that rapper 50 Cent will be joining in on the fun as Balrog while Callina Liang is set to be the new Chun-Li.
The first casting reports featured Andrew Koji as Ryu and Noah Centineo playing Ken Masters too.
Andrew Schulz is on board to be Dan Hibiki also while Orville Peck will be another Shadaloo general in Vega.
The project is now being directed by Kitao Sakurai, and it’ll probably be a good amount of time before we see a trailer or anything besides casting for the movie.
