SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Local author Todd Borg will be featured at the next South Lake Tahoe Library program hosted by the Friends of the Library.
On Tuesday, July 22, Borg will be introducing his newest book, Tahoe Speed, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Borg is one of Lake Tahoe’s most prolific authors. Tahoe Speed is his 23rd Owen McKenna mystery thriller. The story was inspired by Tahoe’s history of great speed skiers, like Steve Mckinney and Jeff Hamilton. In the book, a world-class skier from Tahoe dies on a speed course in France. Detective Owen McKenna’s investigation is unsuccessful until he discovers an unlikely connection to Victor Hugo’s novel, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.
The event is free and open to the public.
The South Lake Tahoe Library is located at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
