TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A busy East Valley freeway transition is blocked due to a rollover crash early Thursday morning.
Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers were called to the Red Mountain Loop 202 eastbound transition ramp to the Loop 101 just before 6 a.m. for the reported crash.
Details about what led to the crash are still limited. A large truck could be seen rolled over on its side, as well as a white sedan with severe front-end damage.
DPS said injuries were reported in the crash, but the details of who was hurt are unclear. Arizona’s Family has a crew at the scene working to learn more information.
The crash is blocking the Loop 101 transition from eastbound Loop 202. Drivers in the area should avoid the area and expect delays.
