Ellen DeGeneres is supporting Rosie O’Donnell.

The 67-year-old former Ellen talk show host spoke out on Instagram on Sunday (July 13), one day after President Donald Trump claimed he was “giving serious consideration” to revoking Rosie‘s U.S. citizenship.

Ellen responded to the news with a post containing Trump‘s July 12 social media post, and the other with Rosie‘s response.

“Good for you,” Ellen wrote, tagging Rosie.

Notably, Ellen and Rosie have had their differences in the past, and Rosie had spoken about something hurtful that happened between them.

Trump initially made his statement about Rosie on his Truth Social platform, arguing that “she should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her.”

Rosie previously confirmed that she had moved to Ireland on January 15 with her 12-year-old child Clay, saying the decision was in the best interests of herself and Clay as she alluded to the current administration.

“I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back,” she said at the time.

Trump since called her “a Threat to Humanity,” to which she responded with Trump taking a photo with a convicted child sex offender.
