HOUSTON – Authorities are trying to piece together why a man was shot to death in northwest Houston.

It happened right around midnight on Wednesday when police said an unidentified man was reported leaving a Wingstop and walking near a bus stop on W 34th Street near North Freeway.
That’s when the Houston Police Department said someone fired several shots at the man. Responding officers rushed him to a hospital, but it was too late, and he died from his injuries.

The only details on a shooter’s description are that investigators are looking for a dark-colored sedan.
Witnesses at the scene are helping officers as they work to investigate what led up to the deadly incident.
